History of Bayliss/Henninger:

Bayliss and Henninger Halls were completed in the northeast corner of Western Illinois University's campus in 1966. They were named after WIU presidents, Alfred E. Bayliss and John H. Henninger, respectively. Bayliss was built to house 507 men and Henninger, 507 women. The project cost $5.7 million.

In the fall semester of 2019, Bayliss-Henninger Halls were closed. However, they experience new life with events being hosted within them such as Mega Reunion, where Alumni spend a weekend on campus, and GLACURH.
